Description
Khata Offering Scarves
Khatas are silky offering scarves offered as greetings to Dharma teachers and friends. As with roses, each khata has a slightly different meaning depending on the people and the occasion. By way of offering the eight auspicious symbols printed on each scarf, khatas are a form of welcoming. An exchange of khatas is also a way of showing mutual respect. If you offer a khata to your teacher, you establish a meritorious connection. Khatas represent the effort and kindness needed to create a good relationship between special guests and families, between teachers and students. We offer fine quality kata scarves in sets of four, for larger order bulk discounts, please inquire.
